It seemed like just another Monday morning at the office for electric.Co lead singer, Andrew Huke. Sitting at his desk, that essential first cup of coffee was interrupted by the ringing phone. But this wasn't the typical phone call that Andrew has come to expect at the start of a new week. This call was from Xfm Breakfast Show Producer, Roque Segade Vieito. He asked Andrew if he had time to do a quick interview on air as Christian O'Connell was about to play the new electric.Co single, I Got A Feelin'. Having cleaned up the spilt coffee from the desk, Andrew found himself talking to one of the country's most talked-about radio DJs about the forthcoming release.

Wake up and smell the hit.

Soft-released as a download on Friday 19th August, the single is scheduled for a full CD release on Monday September 26th.

electric Co. is an appropriate name for this band, as they're wired for success and generating a lot of interest (sorry, we couldn't resist - Ed).

Imagine if Ryan Adams had set up home in Brighton and swapped his voice for something more soulful....

This is a track that resonates with the all the resolution of an all-night cigar-smoking contest yet is more polished than the pebbles on Brighton's nudist beach. In lead singer (and guitarist) Andrew Huke they've found that rare thing - a unique and fresh voice. It's a tight outfit around him too, including Bill Melis on drums so crafted that they could have been carved out of the Sussex Downs. No wonder Mike Pelanconi, of Graham Coxon and Acid Jazz fame, wanted to be the Producer.

Make no mistake, Brighton may have two promenades, but this is peerless....
