The Banshee's "People Around"

Here's the third and final instalment for The Banshee's "People Around" EP on the Download Club.

The band were in the UK for a week of shows last week (starting in Brighton and ending in Reading - with Doncaster, Northampton and London in between) and we duly trotted off to Water Rats to see their show. Having been swicthed from opening act (due onstage at 7:30pm) to headline (onstage at 10pm) they then suffered the ignomy of having their show cancelled because the promoter basically couldn't be arsed. Now the Water Rats is one of my favourite venues in which to see bands in London and we have hosted many Shifty Disco label nights there over the years. But things have obviously changed there now and if a promoter thinks that they can treat a band in this way (especially one that has travelled from Italy) then they will soon find that bands will stop playing there.

We won't be letting this drop...

A different version of the "People Around" EP will be available through all regular digital platforms in the UK from next Monday (30th March) and will include another exclsuive remix of "Kicks Up" plus a live version of "Russia".

Happily the band enjoyed their other 4 UK shows last week and will be back in June.
