In February 2008, after 18 months of heavy promotion and touring following the release of their debut album "Public Talks", The Banshee entered Red House Studio in Senigallia (Ancona, Italy) to record their second effort - titled "Your Nice Habits" - utilising the production skills of (ex-Clor man) Luke Smith (producer for Shit Disco, To My Boy, Theoretical Girl, frYars). Luke Smith then brought the ten tracks back to London with him to mix.
Release in September 2008, "Your Nice Habits" shows the band at its hook-laden, grooved-up best - with spruced songwriting matching the electro bursts and forthright. Music for the masses, maybe, but music with substance and depth.
"Kicks Up" is the first single to be released from the album. More to follow in 09....
