The Kings Shilling were formed in December 2007 with members from Carterton and Garsington.
The bands debut single “Saliva” was released in March 2008, since which the act have played several well received gigs in the Oxfordshire area.
“Don’t Go Away” the bands follow up download single, is a much poppier outing than its predecessor. The track is a reaction to a traumatic incident that happened to one of the band. This is reflected in the lyrics, although the song is very uplifting musically.
The original artwork for the release was designed by NASA Jet Propulsion professor Sven Geier.

With label interest The Kings Shilling are scheduled to release their debut album Autumn/Winter this year.
