Hello You,
Greetings to you from Wrath Records, up here in glamorous West Yorkshire. Glad we could make your acquaintance.
We have teamed up with them Shifty Disco types to bring you a rather delicious taster of Wrath produce. This will take the form of a 6-track label sampler split over two separate downloads as part of the Shifty Disco Download Singles Club. The first one represents the current state of affairs with recent album releases, while the second part will be more of a preview of things to come.
As well as a terrific trio of tantalising tunes in this installment, we have also included some old toss about each of the bands featured and their current long players. In the next installment (in about a month's time), you will be treated to another 3 tracks plus CD artwork. You can burn all 6 tracks off to a CD (in whichever order you like!) and print off the cover to make your very own DIY Wrath Records sampler. How smart is that eh?
In this thrilling installement:

GALITZA - 'NIGHT'
| |

'Night' is the epic closer from Galitza's debut album 'Do You See?, Do You?'.
What some people have said about 'Do You See, Do You?':
"Drifting, as they do, in a special dimension of their own, Galitza pulsate on a separate cycle to the ones we can normally understand. Almost any idea that I use to start, continue or finish this review will be pointless and misleading. Words are never enough when the music is this good." - LEEDSMUSICSCENE.co.uk
"There's a certain bite to the whole approach which elevates it above the ordinary" - SANDMAN MAGAZINE

BEING 747 - 'TARGET PRACTICE'
| |
'Target Practice' is one of the band's favourite tunes. It also comes from the debut album 'Fun & Games'
What some people have said about 'Fun & Games':
"This is fun, fun, FUN!" " - Yorkshire Evening Post
"Operating in the kind of theatre usually reserved for the absurd, Being 747’s skew whiff take on the left-field modern pop vernacular is intelligently manufactured, beautifully realised & perfectly formed" - TRAKMARX.com
"It's an intelligent listen, full of observation and humour. If you like your lyrics this album is for you." - ARTROCKER
"Being 747 are about as fashionable as pyjamas. Which makes them as cool as pyjamas. Scratch away at the surface and you have a wealth of ideas and experience: they sound variously like a band impaled on the sharp edges of the ‘80s, a band blinded by the sunshine of a certain era of the ‘90s and a band floating in time and space. Above all, you have a band that can stop you in your tracks with their base sensitivity. In almost the same breath, they’ll have you reaching for the PVA to repair your sides" - LEEDS STUDENT
"Being 747 have captured some entertaining ideas that somehow turn a bitter and twisted cabaret sound into a demonic, punk influenced and sometimes, irreverent noise. Schizoid rock and roll - now what’s wrong with that?" - MANCHESTERMUSIC.co.uk

STUFFY/THE FUSES - 'FRIEND'
| |

'Friend' is a few tracks in on Stuffy/The Fuses debut long player 'Join Me Or Die!'
What some people have said about 'Join Me Or Die!':
"There's a romantic, dreaming quality to JMOD! And musically it may be exciting - the guitars sound like they've spent the night in the garden shed, and the album's truly a lesson in Fugazi-esque good timing - but it's that melodic surrealism (reminiscent of The Pixes and early Bowie) that makes it truly special. ****" - THE FLY
"Stuffy & His Fuses alternate between pastoral pop magnificence & brutal guitar attack – often in the same song. With a strong sense of rhythm & an equally adept rhythm guitarist to boot, Stuffy & The Fuses are highly recommended to anyone who likes their pop punk with a dash of eccentricity." - TRAKMARX.com
"Fascinating, visceral stuff and no mistake." - WHISPERINANDHOLLERIN.co.uk
