The debut release from The Special Relationship! This track was the John Kennedy’s Xposure ‘Hot One’ XFM in late November, and has since been receiving regular airplay on the station.
The track is based around a monster riff, which resulted from TSR’s experiments with a heavier sound, spurred on by Shifty Disco’s very own ‘My Device’. Thematically simple, the stark lyrics deal with singer Richard Netley’s desire to still be in a rocking band when he is an old, old man, which helps to keep the song driving forward.
The band is close to completing more new material, and currently booking shows for the first half of 2007.
