Ally Craig's first EP, "How The Land Became Plastic", was recorded in late 2005 by Dan Weller and Justin Hill of SikTh. Drums were provided by Gareth Grover of Aconite Thrill. The bass guitar was played by Jeff King of local metal kings Bombshoe, and the good bits of singing were done by Rebecca Mosley. Members of Oxfordshire math-rock gods AndNoStar also put their hands together really quickly to create a kind of skin-slapping sound which is often heard in today's popular music.
Ally Craig was born in 1986 to two bewildered chimps. Shunned and forced to live in the forest, he was discovered one day by a passing lumberjack who intended to clear the area to build a shifty discotheque. When the lumberjack overheard Ally mindlessly humming to himself as he nursed a wounded raccoon, he was moved to tears. The raccoon sadly passed away, but this left Ally free to learn a musical instrument. The lumberjack offered him a theremin, but Ally couldn't work out how to play it, and instead bought himself a guitar using the money he earned selling raccoon fur coats on the black market. He has now been unleashing his noises (which he calls "songs") on an unsuspecting Oxfordshire public for a number of years, and claims he won't stop until he has earned enough money to buy the original DeLorean from Back To The Future and see what really happens when it hits 88.
