Standby for countdown......... 22 March sees the release of 'THE TRIP - O.S.T.' a groundbreaking space-age underground dance soundtrack brought to you from the edge of space on double spherical discs by Channel 4 in conjunction with independent record label Shifty Disco.

'THE TRIP - O.S.T.' is the cyber-offspring of a new eight part Channel 4 TV series 'THE TRIP' that will be beamed across the airwaves of space into TV sets countrywide, beginning Saturday 27 February @ 2.50am, that late night time zone known as 4Later. 'THE TRIP' consists of rarely seen NASA space footage from the earliest days of space exploration to 1990's pre-millennial interplanetary stella discovery set to a deftly crafted cutting edge dance music soundtrack.

'THE TRIP - O.S.T.' features 21 underground tracks from, Luke Slater, Boards of Canada, Plastikman, Les Rhythmes Digitales and Mogwai amongst others and is the perfect musical post-club chill out.

From "we have lift off" to man's first steps on the moon, "the final frontier" to "Houston we have a problem", 'THE TRIP' is an intergalactic mind bending space journey into the unknown, and is the brainchild of producer Jacques Peretti, while the Original Soundtrack has been skilfully mixed and mastered by underground guru DJ Downfall.
