THE BIGGER THE GOD
IF EVERYONE I EVER LOVED LEFT ME

It's something we've all thought about in our darkest moments. The idea that we could be left alone in the world, never to be loved. What if even the cat walked out?
The Bigger The God's singer David Cowles-Hamar makes it all seem so irrelevant. Who needs the love and support of friends when you've got an ego the size of a planet to keep you company. Not that he's so self-assured, but his skeletally operatic voice (imagine Terry Hall meets Jarvis Cocker with just a hint of Noel Coward) perfectly compilments this soundtrack to self-refection, despair and megalomania; Scott Walker's 'Jackie' amplified two-fold and given a 90's pop electric shake-up. Think of a sea of strings and guitars and tumbling drums, one minute sweeping and triumphant, the next adrift in an ocean of despair. Think dizzy heights and unbearable lows.
It's all hear in 'If Everyone I Ever Loved Left Me'. After releasing half a dozen acclaimed singles and one glorious pop album on their own Outdigo label, this track led to their magnum opus of a second album.
